Jakelskloof Links is a new golf estate development set in the Schoemanskloof mountains, requiring a brand that captures its unique connection between nature, place, and experience.

The project centred on creating a brand identity that reflects the estate’s natural setting and positioning as a relaxed, premium golf destination. From naming through to visual identity, the goal was to establish a meaningful connection between golf and the surrounding landscape, resulting in a brand that feels both rooted and distinctive.
The name Jakelskloof Links draws from the owner’s nickname, “Jakels,” meaning fox in Afrikaans, grounding the brand in a personal and local narrative. This story informed the logo design, where traced lines from a fox’s face were used to create a unique icon. The result is a cohesive identity that links nature, story, and sport into a recognisable and memorable brand experience.
